Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 13 June 2026
Tap Star (trading as "Tapstars", operated by B Khanal & P Rai) is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. We treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-off task.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the benchmark referenced by the Australian Human Rights Commission under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth). WCAG is built on four principles: content should be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.
What we do
- Use semantic, structured HTML with a logical heading order.
- Provide a "skip to content" link and a visible keyboard focus indicator.
- Support full keyboard navigation across menus, forms and buttons.
- Label interactive controls and images for screen readers.
- Maintain readable colour contrast for text and important UI.
- Design layouts that work on phones, tablets and desktops, and reflow when zoomed.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is never "finished". We review new features against WCAG 2.2 AA as we build them and fix issues as we find them. If you use assistive technology and something doesn't work for you, we want to know so we can put it right.
