Why does my maps.app.goo.gl link not work?
Those short links hide the place identifier. Open the short link in a browser first, then copy the full URL from the address bar and paste that instead.
Can customers use the link without a Google account?
They'll be asked to sign in to Google to post a review - that's a Google requirement for all reviews, no matter what link you use.
